Workforce Colorado Career Fair — Wednesday, September 16

This is the biggest general-admission fair of the bunch and the one to prioritize if you only make it to one. It runs in the Littleton Rooms on the main floor, and the published employer roster is genuinely mixed: Arapahoe County, the Aurora Police Department, Aurora Public Schools, BMO Financial, AlloSource, Kelly Education, Air Care Colorado, American Automation Services, ASB Branding and Fulfillment, and Philip Morris International. Entry level through experienced, which is unusual for a single room. Veterans and eligible spouses get priority of service starting at 10:00 a.m., a half hour before general admission. Aurora Public Schools Walk-In Hiring Event — Thursday, September 24

Aurora Public Schools sets up in the CentrePoint lobby on the fourth Thursday of the month, which means this one runs again on Thursday, October 22 if late September does not work. The district is hiring well beyond classroom teachers: counselors, nurses, administrative and professional staff, custodians, nutrition services, transportation mechanics and bus drivers, and interns. School district work is worth a look if you want a schedule that tracks the academic calendar and a benefits package that starts on day one. 9th Annual Encore Career Fair — Wednesday, October 7

Now in its ninth year, the Encore fair is run by Arapahoe/Douglas Works! with the City of Centennial and the Centennial Senior Commission, and it is built for the second-act job seeker: people staying in the same field, people switching late, and people who just want holiday-season income. It meets in Meeting Room A. Veterans and spouses get the first half hour, 9:00 to 9:30 a.m.; general public runs 9:30 to 11:30. Bring a resume. Express Employment Industrial & Skilled Trades Hiring Event — Wednesday, October 14

This one is narrow on purpose, and that is the good news if it fits you. Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for industrial and skilled trades roles only: cleanroom technician, electronics assembler, aerospace technician, CNC machinist and programmer, line operator, assembly technician, soldering technician with IPC 610 or 620, and quality control inspector. That roster maps straight onto the aerospace and advanced-manufacturing cluster that runs along the south metro. The organizer asks you to apply online first and then bring a resume to the event for immediate consideration, so do the application before October 14 rather than after.

⚠️ Read This Before You Drive

All four events sit outside Denver city limits, in Aurora and Englewood, and that matters for more than your commute. Denver runs its own minimum wage ordinance, and it is well above the state floor: as of January 1, 2026, work performed inside Denver city limits pays at least $19.29 an hour, or $16.27 for tipped food and beverage workers. Step outside the city line and the Colorado state minimum of $15.16 applies unless that municipality has adopted its own rate.
